A bride and groom has been slammed online for giving their wedding guests an extensive list of rules they must abide by on their big day. The list of 15 demands was shared on Reddit, where social media users tore the newlyweds to shreds with their “unreasonable” rules. The post racked up thousands of comments on the Wedding Shamers subreddit, with one person writing, 'If someone sent this to me, I would simply just not go.' The rules included that guests needed to remember their opinions on the wedding are “irrelevant” while also banning attendees from “sitting down all night” or making their own big announcements. The first rule urged guests to remember that this was the bride and groom's big day, “not yours”, while also telling guests, “Do not get in the photographer's way.” They also made a strict dress code, writing, “the attire is BLACK and/or GOLD not red, blue, green and definitely NO WHITE!” “Do not rearrange the seats, we have a seating chart for a reason.” The rules continued, “If you didn't put out any money for the wedding, keep your "should've, could've, would've" to yourself. Your opinion is irrelevant.” But the couple did not stop there as they also urged guests to pace themselves when drinking and banned “big announcements or proposals.” Next up, it read, “If you can't handle or dislike the music being played, simply go home. This is a celebration, not a funeral.” The lovebirds then instructed their friends and family to use their own personalised hashtag when posting photos on social media. Rounding out the demands, the final five read, “Do not sit down all night. No outside liquor. If caught, you will be escorted out.” “Refer back to rule number one. The bride and groom said what they said! Turn ALL the way up!” The post was soon flooded with comments with many insisting that the couple had taken it too far. One person wrote, “What kind of list is this? Too chaotic for me.” Another person added, “Yeah, I would not be going to that wedding. Sounds like too much drama.” On the other hand, there were a few commenters who understood the need for issuing such strict guidelines and defended the couple. AFL player found dead at just 29

AFL player Cameron McCarthy has died at the age of 29. McCarthy, a former Fremantle Dockers and GWS Giants player, was confirmed dead by The Age and WA media after WA police confirmed on Friday that a body had been found. "About 6:15pm yesterday, Thursday 9 May 2024, emergency services were called to an address in Lake Coogee," police said. "Upon arrival, it was confirmed a 29-year-old male was deceased. The death is being treated as non-suspicious. A report will be prepared for the coroner." McCarthy was drafted with pick 14 in 2013 and played 21 games for the Giants in Sydney, but requested a trade home to Perth due to homesickness, and later joined Fremantle at the end of 2016. After being the club's leading goal kicker in 2017 and playing 49 games for the Dockers, he was cut at the end of 2020. Midway through the 2020 season McCarthy collapsed at training, and was later diagnosed with epilepsy. "Cam is remembered as not just a prodigious football talent but as a popular, compassionate and caring person who had time for everyone at our club," South Fremantle said in a statement. Sunrise reporter Nathan Templeton has tragically died at the age of 44. The father of two was found near Barwon Rover in Geelong on Monday evening after he suffered a medical episode while walking his dog. Templeton was a regular reporter on the Channel 7 morning show, making a name for himself as poolside reporter at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro in 2016 and again in Tokyo in 2020. "Worth it": Insane amount woman spends to clone dead cat

Kelly Anderson from Texas, US was devastated when she lost her "soulmate" cat Chai more than four years ago. Not long after, in what she calls "fate", Anderson decided to clone her beloved pet, a process which cost her a whopping $USD25,000 ($AUD38,000). "It was just one of those moments where I had been talking about cloning a few weeks before and fate kicked in," she told Weekend Today. "I remembered the conversation and decided to clone." The process took about four years, which is roughly twice the average time it takes to clone a pet. "It was not money that I had come easily to me but it was a very important process for me to do," she said. "It was 100 per cent worth it. The process saved my life." Anderson added that Belle, the successfully cloned cat, has grown to be as "bold, bossy, sassy" as Chai, and their personalities have become more alike. Despite the similarities, Anderson said that she doesn't set any expectations on Belle to be Chai's replacement. "I would still say she's very much her own cat and I treat her that way. I always try to treat them as individuals. "I never wanted to put expectations on Belle to be Chai. But I would say that they're very similar in a lot of ways." “It turned to tragedy”: Three people dead after mass drowning

Three people have died and another is in critical condition after drowning at the popular Phillip Island beach in Victoria. Emergency response teams were quick on the scene on Wednesday afternoon after four people were unresponsive after being pulled from the water at the beach notorious for dangerous rips. The victims are a man in his 40s and two women in their 20s, while another woman in her 20s is fighting for her life after being airlifted to hospital. An eyewitness told 7News it was a “horrible” situation that unfolded. “The family was really upset,” the witness, Alex Tzatzimakis, said. “There seemed to be a group of 10 people who came here for a really nice day. Obviously it turned to tragedy.” She said that family members of the victims were crying and consoling each other, while beachgoers who pulled the bodies from the water attempted to perform CPR. Rob Dale "destroyed" after police shot dead pet dog

Rob Dale, who has previously starred in reality TV show Aussie Gold Hunters, was left heartbroken after his pet dog Monty was shot dead during an arrest in Perth's north-east. Police were making an arrest in Dale's house on Stratton Blvd at around 9:30am on Tuesday when the incident occurred. “While at the residence, a dog owned by another person approached and attacked the arrested suspect and a female police officer,” authorities said at the time. A male officer fired at Monty "to prevent further injury". Two men were arrested for aggravated home burglary and commit, stealing and trespassing, after a series of incidences that led police officers to Dale's home. Dale was not home at the time of the incident, and there is no suggestion that he was involved in any alleged crimes. The TV personality said that his nine-year-old French mastiff x Great Dane, was a much loved “member of the family," and he was only trying to protect the occupants of the house. “He was loyal and protective and he gave me a lot of comfort knowing that if anything was to happen ... my family would be safe with him,” Dale said. “This has destroyed my children and myself.” Dale described his pet as a “really soft-natured animal”, and was a "protector of the family”. “He was just fulfilling his duty in that house and that’s to protect the occupants, and it’s cost him his life,” Dale added. "Dead dodgy": Outraged shopper uncovers sneaky Coles practice

One disgruntled shopper has called out Coles for their "deceptive" tactic to mislead customers about their special deal prices. After finding that prices online were often mismatched to prices in store, regular Coles shopper Rowan Element got into the habit of checking if the price of an item was the same on the specials tag and its original tag, with the initial price often exaggerated on the specials tag to make the promotion appear more appealing. On Thursday, Element discovered one Coles store in Canberra employing this sneaky practice with the original tag conveniently hidden behind the promotion. "I bought this humble pack of sliced mushrooms, they were on special 'two for $6.50' or $4 for one. When I moved the specials tag the price was $3.50... It is not the first time that I’ve noticed something like this," she told <a href="https://au.news.yahoo.com/coles-customer-catches-supermarket-in-dead-dodgy-practice-062334548.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Yahoo News Australia</a>. "Clearly Coles put the price up to make the 'special' look better but forgot to take off the original price ticket." Cindy Morgan has passed away aged 69. The actress, who gained fame in the 1980s for her iconic blonde bombshell role as Lacey Underall in the cult classic film Caddyshack, was found dead in her room with no foul play suspected according to TMZ. A representative for the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office confirmed on Saturday that the actress passed away due to natural causes. Morgan's roommate reportedly called police to their Lake Worth Beach home on December 30, 2023 when she returned from her holiday and got no response after knocking on the actress' door. TMZ reported that her roommate told police she smelled a strong odour coming from inside, before they found her dead. In addition to playing Lacey in the iconic 1980 comedy hit alongside Bill Murray and Rodney Dangerfield, she also starred in 80s sci-fi flick Tron as Dr. Lora Baines and computer program Yori. Morgan graduated from Northern Illinois University with a degree in communications, before her big break on the screen.
